Different Types Of Bridal Bouquets

different types of bridal bouquets

If you aren’t super familiar with bridal bouquets or wedding florals in general, you probably had no idea that there were more than one or two different types of bridal bouquets. Surprise! There are actually six main different types of bridal bouquets that you can choose from. Today, we are going to break them down and help you figure out which bouquet is best for you!

1. Cascading

These bouquets are showstoppers. Like the same states, they cascade down like a waterfall. These pair great with simple dresses that don’t have a lot of detail, that way your bouquet really pops.

2. Round

These are more traditional bouquets. Typically only featuring one or two flowers tied tightly in a dome shape. These bouquets are usually smaller in size so they work great for bridesmaids bouquets!

3. Hand Tied

These beautiful bouquets are extremely popular. They give off a more flowy wild look. They are tied together with twine or ribbon with the stems peeking out the bottom to give off that natural look. They are often filled with different flowers and greenery and give you the perfect dramatic statement.

These bouquets are perfect for petite brides because they are small in size. They are also meant to be carried with one hand which can be helpful. They often feature dramatic flowers and forgoing a lot of greenery.

BEHIND THE flowers

Hi, I'm
Kory.

With the eye of an artist, I collaborate closely to create floral designs that feel both curated and untamed—unique yet timeless. Over the years, my artistry has become known for being one-of-a-kind, organic, and ethereal, evoking a natural sense of wonder. And when I’m not designing, you’ll find me tending my garden, walking my two doodles, or exploring another country—falling in love with a new culture all over again.
