Over the years, my artistry has become known for being one-of-a-kind, organic, and ethereal, evoking a natural sense of wonder. And when I’m not designing, you’ll find me tending my garden, walking my two doodles, or exploring another country—falling in love with a new culture all over again.

Liesl grew up on an organic farm in rural Virginia, so sustainability and agriculture have been a passion of hers since she was a child. She loves helping clients and businesses turn dreams into reality. Her ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot when life happens, and always find a solution. She oversees behind-the-scenes logistics and business growth, essentials in bringing our client’s vision to life.

Atlas is Kory’s shadow and Springvale’s team snuggle bear. He’s 80 lbs of love, wrapped in a snuggly blanket of black curls. Atlas enjoys people watching, munching on blueberries, and joining Kory on foraging adventures, and always makes a point to stop and smell the flowers. An avid lover of all things that bounce, you can spot Atlas chasing any stray ball.

Our Story

Driven by a love for florals and a passion for creativity, Kory Garvis founded Springvale Floral in 2018. What began as a solo endeavor—personally delivering bespoke arrangements around DC—has grown into a thriving team of head-over-heels romantics designing for upscale weddings and events in the DC area and beyond. Known for her intentional connections and intuitive artistry, Kory creates floral experiences as meaningful as they are breathtaking.

Planning an event this personal and significant can feel overwhelming—especially when it comes to design. That’s why our approach is built on genuine, human-to-human connection. Our team of sustainability advocates infuse each project with mindful choices—limiting single-use plastics, sourcing local greenery, and composting all floral waste. It’s our way of preserving the very environment that inspires us. To offset our carbon footprint, we plant a tree for every event we serve.
