Her style is the best of both worlds, unique with classical elements allowing for a timeless look entirely your own. She revels in making loose arrangements that retain the sense of spontaneity and romance found in the garden. When she’s not designing, she spends time in her garden or exploring another country and finding she’s falling in love with another culture all over again.

Liesl grew up on an organic farm in rural Virginia, so sustainability and agriculture have been a passion of hers since she was a child. She loves helping clients and businesses turn dreams into reality. Her ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot when life happens, and always find a solution to make her role as production manager a breeze. She oversees behind-the-scenes logistics and business growth, essentials in bringing our client’s vision to life. When she isn’t working for Springvale, Liesl loves to travel, spend time in nature with her pup, Hektor, and cook with local ingredients (including flowers!)

Atlas is Kory’s shadow and Springvale’s team snuggle bear. He’s 80 lbs of love, wrapped in a snuggly blanket of black curls. Atlas enjoys people watching, munching on blueberries, and joining Kory on foraging adventures, and always makes a point to stop and smell the flowers. An avid lover of all things that bounce, you can spot Atlas chasing any stray ball.

To offset our carbon footprint, we plant a tree for every event we serve. After the devastating wildfires in California, we decided to donate this year’s trees to their reforestation efforts. Through these endeavors, your wedding becomes a part of that commitment to help our planet heal.
We value connection. It’s at the heart of everything we do at Springvale Floral. We crave that human-to-human connection many florists forgo, and cherish our role as the facilitator who connects you and your guests with nature.
We value intentionality. We calculate each aspect of our work carefully to create an organic, wild-yet-refined aesthetic that is captivating, drawing you in. Each bloom, each color, each vessel is chosen and arranged with specificity to create movement and encourage the viewer to engage with the piece. Our designs are crafted to connect with each sense, incorporating colors you’ll delight in, textural elements you feel just by looking, and intentional scents that evoke emotion.
We value sustainability. It’s only right to treat Mother Nature with respect after she creates the wonderful flowers that stir our hearts. Springvale Floral intentionally chooses green practices, limiting single-use plastics, foraging local greenery and composting. We plant a tree in a U.S. National Forest in honor of every event we serve. We work diligently to source our flowers locally, including growing some of our own blooms, and source out-of-season flowers from vetted sustainable suppliers.
